Wow just wanted to say that I loved The Basement. Got it on my Kindle. Must say it did give me the creeps abit and really did not guess until right at the end. Brilliant.
Also love Spider novels on the third now and have all on Kindle ready and waiting. Read Once Bitten too. That was my first of your novel and never looked back. thanks kirsty. shall be recommending you on Facebook.

Thanks! I'm actually writing a sort-of prequel to The Basement called The Bestseller and the hero in it is called Kirsty!

Top news Stephen! Found your blog after reading Sean Black's last post... You probably won't remember me, but I e-mailed you via your website a few years ago as an aspiring author looking for advice. Think you said something like "getting published is not easy but it's worth it in the end."
It was - my debut's out worldwide in October / November. May have some catching up to do to match your sales though... :o)

I'm a great fan of you since I discovered the novels of Spider and you became my favourite author. I buy your books at the moment they are published in Spain but unfortunately, only four has been published. Hope The Basement will be published here sometime and continue enjoying your way of writing, which is amazing.
Thanks for all your books!!! That's why I love reading!!!.
Best regards from a spanish fan.
