Container Ship Hydra Arriving At Southampton (September 9, 2010)
Back to Southampton after 18 days on board the container ship Hydra.
I had a great time and wrote 55,000 words of the new Spider Shepherd book!
I was questioned for an hour by two detectives from Hampshire Police, but that's another story!

Especially like the evacuation...
The chief engineer looking thoroughly smug because he's done his bit already with the fire team...the first officer looking terrified because he knows the master is watching his every move...the a.b's looking at the equipment as if they've never seen it before...and the motormen hanging around looking bored because they DO know how the eqiupment works but like to watch the a.b's squirm!
And of course, if you had been blown overboard, it would only have taken them an hour an a half to swing the boat around to pick you up!! *snort*
Aah...it all comes flooding back! Lol.
Glad you had a good time, looking forward to reading the next novel and thanks for sharing the adventure!
