I finished the first draft of the new Spider Shepherd book last week and Hodder have already come up with a cover. I think it's a cracker. There's still some work to be done but if all goes to plan it will be in the shops in July.
Looking forward, as always to your next Spider book. I have just bought Nightmare and it is next on my "to read" list. Do you have a title for the next Nightingale book? Suppose to the cold weather is an incentive to have a nice glass of red in front of a warm fire and a waiting wp. Carolyn
Stephen, You might find this review from Amazon's biggest fraud quite amusing... http://www.amazon.com/Taking-Stand-Ken-Casper/product-reviews/1611940877/ref=cm_cr_dp_synop?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending#R15FY8IGE1OSRU cheers nick
Read every one of your books except nightmare. I started off with private dancer which i read in Thailand. Your early books are heavily influenced by the far east, do you still holiday there? cheers Darren your number 1 fan
Hi Stephen - I've loved every single one of your books, especially the Dan Shepherd and Jack Nightingale series. I try not to read them too quickly in the hope that you have a new one to read before I'm finished! Always eagerly anticipating the next installment, keep up the good work!
Excellent - love the Spider Shepherd books
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a great cover.
ReplyDeleteCan I ask: How many titles a year can you write? Do you find they just "flow", like a switch clicks when you sit down?

ReplyDeleteTwo a three a year. They don't exactly flow, but I don't have to force them!

No title yet, Carolyn - just a vague idea for a plot!
